Kids just like you need access to safe water at their schools. Imagine what your school would look like if you didn’t have have water after a long, hot recess or if you didn’t have a place to use the bathroom safely or wash your hands before lunch. School would be a whole lot harder.
Water for Good works to make sure kids in Africa and Asia have the same opportunities you do. But we can’t make changes without help from you. Are you up the challenge of helping to change the world?
703 million people live without access to reliable water. That’s 1 in 12 people on the planet. It’s a problem that impacts health, compromises education, perpetuates poverty, and drives inequality. But together, we can be a source for change that ends the crisis.

Water-related Illnesses keep kids out of school
Nearly 443 million school days are lost each year due to water-related illnesses. In water-poor communities, children spend their days gathering water instead of attending school. Without water at schools, children often leave class in search of it, sometimes not returning.

At Water for Good, we believe that kids are the change makers needed to help move the needle on the global water, sanitation, and hygiene crisis. We’re here to help them as much as we can, but they look to you, the adult in their lives, for the ultimate guidance. But that doesn’t mean that you have to go at it alone. Parents, guardians, teachers, and spiritual leaders sometimes need help, too. Hopefully these resources can help guide you in supporting the young people you influence.
