Donation Disclaimer
Thank you for your support of Water for Good’s mission and programs. By making a donation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms:
Use of Donations
Water for Good is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 32-0112278) registered in the United States. We are committed to honoring donor intent to the greatest extent possible. We will make every effort to ensure that gifts designated to support specific countries, programs, projects, or participants are used in accordance with your wishes.
However, all contributions are solicited with the understanding that Water for Good has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. Unless a gift is made pursuant to a separate written restricted gift agreement signed by an authorized officer of Water for Good, all donations are considered designated (rather than restricted) gifts, meaning your designation is treated as a non-binding suggestion.
If circumstances change such that it becomes impossible, impractical, or inconsistent with charitable needs to use your gift as designated, Water for Good reserves the right to redirect your contribution to similar programs or purposes that further our mission. Our board of directors (or senior management acting under board authority) will make final determinations regarding the use of donations in a manner that best advances Water for Good’s charitable mission.
Tax Deductibility
All donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Water for Good will provide a written acknowledgment for all contributions of $250 or more, as required by IRS regulations. The receipt will indicate that other than intangible religious benefits, no goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution.
Please retain your donation receipt for tax purposes and consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution. Donors are responsible for determining the tax deductibility and value of their contributions.
Donation Processing and Refunds
Donations are processed immediately upon submission. Due to the nature of our charitable work and the immediate deployment of funds to program activities, donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe an error has been made, please contact us at info@waterforgood.org /479-360-5030 within 30 days of your donation, and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
Recurring Donations
If you establish a recurring donation, you may cancel or modify your recurring gift at any time by logging into your Funrasie account or contacting us at info@waterforgood.org /479-360-5030. Changes will take effect beginning with the next scheduled donation date. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains current.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Donations made in memory or in honor of an individual will be used in accordance with these donation terms. Water for Good will send an acknowledgment to the honoree or family member at the address you provide, noting your name and that a gift was made (without disclosing the amount unless you authorize us to do so). The donor will receive a tax receipt.
Matching Gifts
If your employer offers a matching gift program, please contact your human resources department to request a matching gift form. Water for Good will complete and return matching gift forms promptly. Matching gifts are subject to the same terms as your original donation.
Stock and Non-Cash Gifts
Water for Good accepts donations of publicly traded securities, real estate, vehicles, and other non-cash assets. For non-cash donations, the donor is responsible for determining the fair market value and tax deductibility of the contribution. Water for Good will provide an acknowledgment of receipt but cannot provide valuation services.

Planned Giving and Bequests
Water for Good gratefully accepts bequests and other planned gifts. If you are considering including Water for Good in your estate plans, please contact us at info@waterforgood.org or 479-360-5030. We recommend consulting with your financial and legal advisors when making planned giving decisions.
Suggested bequest language: “I give [percentage/amount/description of property] to Water for Good, Inc., a nonprofit organization located at P.O. Box 2868, Bentonville, AR 72712, EIN: 32-0112278, for its general charitable purposes.”
International Donors
Water for Good welcomes donations from international supporters. However, tax deductibility may not be available for donations made from outside the United States. International donors should consult with their local tax advisors regarding any potential tax benefits. Currency conversion rates and international transaction fees may apply.
Third-Party Fundraising and Crowdfunding
If you donate through a third-party platform (such as PayPal, Facebook, GoFundMe, etc.), your donation is subject to both these terms and the terms of the third-party platform. Please note that third-party platforms may charge processing fees that reduce the amount Water for Good receives. Transaction fees charged by third parties are not tax deductible.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Water for Good makes no warranties or representations regarding the outcomes of specific programs or projects. While we strive to provide accurate and current information about our programs, circumstances may change due to factors beyond our control, including political conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen events.
Water for Good is not responsible for technical issues, service interruptions, or errors in donation processing caused by third-party payment processors or technology providers.
Governing Law
These donation terms are governed by the laws of Arkansas and the applicable federal tax laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Benton County, Arkansas.
Changes to These Terms
Water for Good reserves the right to modify these donation terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your donation will govern that specific donation. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. Privacy and Data Use
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Your donation information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://waterforgood.org/privacy-policy/. We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process your donation or as required by law.
